The Exposome Alliance held a full-day technical meeting hosted by Helmholtz Munich, bringing together its scientific members, civil society and research infrastructure partners to advance the case for a coordinated European exposome initiative. The morning session, chaired by Prof. Annette Peters (Helmholtz Munich) and Prof. Roel Vermeulen (Utrecht University), focused on the architecture of a shared research cohort, with participants committing to concrete deliverables aligned with the International Human Exposome Network (IHEN) roadmap. The afternoon turned to civil society perspectives on consent, data use and participant rights, followed by discussions on governance, industry partnership models and synergies with the Genome of Europe initiative.
